We stayed at Shirleys beach for the first three days of our holidays. They organised a taxi to collect us from Trivandrum airport at 3.30 am. Our flight was late, and it took us over an hour to get through passport control and collect our luggae - this is quite normal for Trivandrum airport. We were 2 hours late for our taxi but were still greated with a smile of genuine warmth, followed by a 30 min taxi journey to Shirleys place. The accommodation was clean, and the staff very helpful. It's less about 50 to 60 meters from the beach down a quiet lane. Our room had a balcony, fan and ensuite bathroom. We enjoyed our stay.
