We stayed here four nights and it felt like home! The staff were very, very nice and the grounds are beautiful and perfectly groomed. This is the only place I would stay in Antigua. It is also within walking distance to the main part of town. It made our perfect escape!

We have stayed many times in Posada la Merced throughout our travels in beautiful Guatemala and the staff are always very helpful, kind and polite. The rooms are very clean and it also has a very pretty courtyard as well with beautiful flowers. Plus the view from the roof is amazing. There were lots of places to eat and drink to choose from and tours can be arranged at the front desk. The Hotel is located in a very good/convenient location, about a 10-15 minute walk to the central square. Very good value for money, and would highly recommend it.
