Funky Box is a centrally located 16 bed dormitory in the center of Chiang Khong. It is adjacent to it's own bar; THE HUB PUB and serves food and optional breakfast. Largely visited by backpackers, it is the ideal place to meet fellow travelers.

Funky Box is situated in a quiet local street, for an authentic feel of Thailand village life. It is opposite our own free bicycle museum and our pub, THE HUB. We are in the center of Chiang Khong and just 60 meters from the main road. Breakfast is available and cool bicycles to rent.

From the bus station, follow the main road towards the border/village center. We are approx 1 kilometer away. Turn left into soi 2 for 60 meters. We are sign posted as The hub pub British bar.

Tuk tuk taxi's are available at the Bus station from Chiang Rai/ Chiang Mai but we are within walking distance.
