How to get there

FROM THE FUNCHAL AIRPORT BY CAR OR TAXI:

When leaving the airport, enter the highway towards Funchal. Take exit 13. Follow all ads for 'Palheiro Golf' as the golf course is on the same road as the hostel. Be aware that one of those signs that you will find has a sign on the other side of the street that says 'Rúa Da Pinheira'. That is the street where the hostel is located, for that street you must enter and you will see the house on your right. House N. 6. Has the logo on the entrance. So every time you see a sign of 'Palheiro Golf' look to the other side to see if it is there that is the sign with the name of the street, if it is not yet, move on.

Grab the Aerobus and get off at the next stop: 'Boa Nova (02)'. Walk 1 minute to the bus stop 'Depois Rest Espadarte (385)' and take the bus '33 Balancal' to the stop 'R Caridade Pestana, S3A (931)'. Walk 3 minutes downhill and you will see the street sign 'Rúa Da Pinheira'. On this street you will find the hostel on your right: House N. 6, MADEIRA HAPPY HOSTEL.
