Dating back almost 150 years, the Napier Museum is an art and natural history museum that houses a rare collection of archaeological and historic artifacts, bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot and ivory carvings. It also contains the Sri Chitra Art Gallery, which contains works from Raja Ravi Varma and Nicholas Roerich, as well as examples of Mughal and Tanjore art. The history of Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple dates back to 8th century, The six vaults in the 16th century temple is laden with treasure and the vaults are estimated to be worth nearly 20 billion dollars and one vault is yet to be opened. Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple gave its name to Kerala’s state capital Thiruvananthapuram. ‘Thiru’ ‘Anantha’ ‘Puram’ means Sacred Abode of Lord Anantha Padmanabha.

Ponmudi (The Golden Peak) is an awe-inspiring hill stations forms a small stretch of the Western Ghats and is one of the main hillstation in Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala in India.
Ponmudi is connected to Trivandrum by a narrow winding road offering scenic views on the way to Ponmudi. The climate is pleasant year-round. Trivandrum serves as a base for trekking and hiking.
