We stayed at Posada La Sonora on the way in and out of country. What I loved about the b/b was how affordable, comfortable and accommodating our hostess Michelle was. We traveled with our two small children 2 and 4 years old with no rental car. Michelle arranged a local taxi driver to take us to local waterfalls, the Poas Volcano and to the airport and bus stations. He was outstanding even tho our Spanish was poor and Jose knew little English. He was our taxi/ tour guide getting us in places for the local price .. not the double or more tourist price. Michelle also helped us out with bus schedules and did a few phone calls in Spanish for us to confirm our next destination.
