Benefit from our hard work: In June 2007 our innovative hotel opened at the very epicenter of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Relax in your room or visit the on-site Lani Lani Contemporary Art Gallery. If you can tear yourself away, there are other entertainments within sight of our front door. During your stay take advantage of our services: Free 24 hours ADSL internet, A/C, free breakfast, coffee and tea all day and we boast the fluffiest duvets in town!!! We can provide a taxi to the airport and free information about Hanoi and the surrounding areas. Our friendly English speaking staff wish to make your stay as comfortable as possible!
Services: - Tours organisations: Halong Bay, Sapa, Traditional villages,... - Visa service for Laos, Cambodia and China and there is a service available for Visa extension here in Vietnam. - Trains/air ticket booking. - Buses to Laos and Multi-stop open bus from Ha Noi to Hue / Hoi An / Nha Trang/ Da Lat or Mui Ne / Sai Gon. - Russian Jeep, motorbike , bicycle rental.
Soak in the culture: The streets surrounding our hotel are filled with French colonial architecture, history and art museums, handicraft shops, speciality restaurants with local cuisine, and art galleries displaying the best original art of Vietnam. Take a cyclo ride through the streets on your own, or join a City Tour to see the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum, as well as Ho Chi Minh’s personal residence.
Our Name: Long ago, Hanoi had another name, “Thang Long” or “Rising Dragon.” King Ly Thai To traveled to the area, praised for its favorable location between mountains and the Red River. The Ly king witnessed a beautiful golden dragon rising up into heaven and decided to establish his capital here in the year 1010. During his reign, Vietnam art and culture flourished, business and agriculture developed rapidly, and the Vietnamese people enjoyed an era of prosperity. Our hotel reflects the same optimism and pride of that long-ago era . Let us show you what the Rising Dragon can offer!

DirectionsLocated a blocks {2 minutes} East of Hoan Kiem Lake, just past the world famous Little Hanoi Restaurant and nearby Water Puppet show.

Beginning on the same block as our hotel are the shoe borough, the made-to-order and ready-made clothing section, and the bar and restaurant district, all part of the delights of the Old Quarter. Nearby conveniences include supermarkets, ATMs and the ANZ Bank, the local post office and FedEx headquarters, plus the modern shopping mall of Hanoi, Trang Tien Plaza.

Taxi/Van service to and from the airport price range: $ 12 - 14 USD. In Hanoi be careful with Motorbike, Taxi, and Van drivers. They sometimes play a little game with the tourists: asking you to wait at the vehicle while they check the hotel for you. If they report no vacancies upon return, don't believe them--they want the hotel to pay a them a commission for bringing them a guest!
