The house offers a comfortable & cheap accommodation and restaurant in a traditional Moroccan style with panoramic views of the atlas mountains including MT Toubkal, the North Africa's highest peak. Perched on the hillside within the Berber villages and only at10 minutes walking up the hill from Imlil. | | Dar Achain is the ideal place to experience the tranquillity and sensuality of exotic holiday in the Atlas Mountains & Toubkal national park & also the best treks starting point to explore the countryside, Berber villages, Toubkal summit, highest mountains passes & green valleys.
The family is able to cater a good food with Berber speciality in a relaxed atmosphere.

Marrakech airport is a nearest airport to Imlil & further 4 hour drive from Ouarzazate will take to this place, this is a spectacular drive taking you across the High Atlas by way of Asni.
The house can take up till 12 people, however there’s also Berber salons/dormitories for families & groups who would like to share. |

Toubkal Ascent 2 days & 1 night -
After breakfast, walk along Ait Mizane valley, following the mule path & cross the Marabaout Sidi Chamharouch continue to Toubkal hut. Overnight stay.
The next day after an early breakfast, start Mt Toubkal ascent which takes approx 3h walking uphill, picnic lunch at the peak, enjoy the views and back down to the hut for lunch which takes & 2h walking downhill. On the afternoon continue to Imlil, night at Dar Achain. | | Directions | How to get to Dar Achain
If you are not driving yourself, the owner can arrange to meet you at the airport and drive 65km towards Imlil.
In case you have your own transport, you need to drive through Marrakech city and choose the way leads to Tahannaoute and Asni, you will find a sigh ‘’ Imlil at 17km” turn on left hand and then continue until Imlil, the CAFÉ TAGHZOUTE which is situated at the end of Imlil village center, there will a mule to carry up your luggage as you will walk up 15 min to reach the house.
