Overview

Welcome to Maison des Amis, a Caribbean/Creole residence located in historic downtown Breaux Bridge overlooking lush landscaped gardens leading to a charming white gazebo that sits over the legendary Bayou Teche. Built around 1870/1880 and known as the "Boudier" house, the center portion of the structure - a circa 1810 two-room bousillage (adobe mud and moss) is the oldest historic structure in town along with the "City Hotel".

Location & Transportation

Maison des Amis is located in the downtown historic district of Breaux Bridge; one block from antique stores, gift shops, restaurants, and cafes. Local activities and attractions include Bird watching at Lake Martin, walking tours, Cajun music and dancing at Mulates and La Poussiere and Zydeco music and dancing at Harry's Club.
Directions	From I-10 Take exit 109 off of I-10 and drive south on Rees Street until you reach the end of the road at Bridge Street. Turn right onto Bridge Street and cross the bridge. Turn left onto Washington Street. Maison Des Amis is the third house on the left. Parking is located at the back of the visitors center parking lot.
